The Chase Line Community Station Partnership, comprising 5 stations, launched in June 2022. Managed and operated by volunteers to support volunteers and their communities, the Chase Line CSP looks after the following stations: Landywood, Hednesford, Cannock, Rugeley Town and Rugeley Trent Valley.

 

The Chase Line owes its survival to having served several industrial areas, including coal mining towns but also the outstanding landscape of Cannock Chase AONB, the smallest designated AONB in Britain.

​The region has much to offer with industrial history, museums, walks and the majestic Georgian stately home, Shugborough, with its sweeping parkland and ancient woodland, and, not forgetting, of course, the beautiful scenery, wildlife and rich history of Cannock Chase. So, whether you’re visiting our area, a train passenger, a local person or interested in getting involved, there really is something for everyone on The Chase Line.
